Pamela Sherrod Ministries was formed to support outreach programs for recovering addicts, and to warn youth about the dangers of alcohol and drug addiction. Our goal is to raise funds to help churches and other organizations that extend services such as housing, employment and training programs, and facilitate projects that help people build careers.
Our publishing division was established to support these efforts, and to provide inspirational stories of people whose lives have been affected by substance abuse. In sharing the book, The Last Chapter in the Life of Mrs. Sammy Davis, Jr. our ministry launches its first fundraising program. Pamela Sherrod, a Christian author, was a close friend and partner of the late Altovise Davis, widow of one of the world’s most famous entertainers. After witnessing Mrs. Davis’ tragic battle with alcohol (and another close friend’s), she made a commitment to help people who’re struggling to overcome substance abuse. "I had two choices," says Pam. "I could sit and mourn over the past, and the unfinished miracles in their lives, or play a role in helping others experience God's miracles."

Alcoholism, like drug addiction, touches all of our lives. It
destroys many of our friends and loved ones, and deprives
us of the amazing gifts of those we lose. Help us extend
